How to Grill a Beef Tenderloin

  1. Make sure your grill grates are clean. Give them a quick scrubbing with your Cool-Clean 360 brush before cooking.
  2. Soak an oak plank in water for about an hour ahead of time. This will keep it from burning up on the grill.
  3. Preheat your grill for medium-high heat for about 15 minutes.
  4. While the grill preheats, remove any excess fat from the tenderloin. Then season to your liking. Drizzle it with oil and rub it into the meat.
    HOT TIP – We recommend seasoning with rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper.
  5. Heat the oak plank on the grill for 3-4 minutes. Flip it over. Add the tenderloin.
  6. Cook for about an hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 110-120°F.
  7. Take the tenderloin off the plank and let the bottom sear.
  8. Remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Carve and enjoy!
